The Nature of Ambition

I like the illustrations by Grant Snider on The Nature of Ambition, obtained from this link.

So true. When we finally found what we want in life, we embark full steam ahead and devote our entire attention and time on it. When thing gets going our way, we get encouraged and want to do better. Obstacles come and go and we learn from each valuable lesson.

Passion keeps us going. It makes us want to do better and aim higher. But somehow we might lose our initial passion and intention which was developed, back when we started our journey. And it is then that we truly learn to slow down and listen to our inner voice. Learning to review and consider our intentions.

I like this article a lot. It reminds me that everyone wants different things in life and hence view things differently in life. But everyone will go through this same phase mentioned above in the link. The review part is important because it will bring us back to the initial path if we want to, because sometimes our path tend to change with course and events surrounding us.

Friday! Weekend looming ahead! Feels good!
