Happy Day 83 (25/09/2014)
KLIA 2 Express

First time taking KLIA Express from KL Central to KLIA2.

Dear defines these signs as:
1. No hot dogs
2. Don't make people hungry
3. Don't put your finger into the hole
4. Don't tie string to your sticks
5. Don't pack your bed into the train

#100happydays Day 82 220914

Happy Day 82 (22/09/2014)
Simple day with sudden realization to buck up.

Been awhile haven't drink Jolly Shandy.
I took it for my breakfast.
Oppsss...

So cute.
RM60 worth spending.
Once in a while ok la...

Now I know that I have comprehensive hire purchase insurance coverage.
You can claim for third party insurance without affecting your NCD.
And even if unnamed driver drives the car and met with an accident,
claim can still be made.

4 years owning a car.
First time know about this.
Still not too late, I reckon.

#100happydays Day 81 210914

Happy Day 81 (21/09/2014)
Visited butcher. Saw an interesting poster.
Dou Dou had his grooming.

First time buying some porky parts.
Dear discovered this.
Very useful information.

Cute?
Big head.
Small body.
Bushy tail.
Reminds me of CJ7.

The pleading eyes.
Gosh, what a weapon.

#100happydays Day 80 200914

 Happy Day 80 (20/09/2014)
Eye-opening. Vinegar-flavoured potato chips.
Good progress with my chicken pox.

Such a special flavor.
Made in Mexico.
The stinging vinegar odour once you opened it up.
It was like something punching you in the nose.
That powerful.

But tastes like normal.
Reminds me that everything is possible.
Maybe Mexicans like it.
I don't think Malaysians will fancy this though.
I am a Malaysian.

Took anti-viral medicine, Acyclovir.
Doctor assured that I won't be infecting anyone in Nepal.

They said must let the pox comes all out, until feet.
Mine stopped until thigh only.
Have to, because my Nepal trip is on 25 Sept.

Counting down.
Have faith.
I will make it.

My 2nd dream place for hiking... Nepal.
Done my 1st one... Mount Kinabalu.
Aiming for 3rd one... Gunung Tahan.

#100happydays Day 79 190914

 Happy Day 79 (19/09/2014)
Found this memorable autobiography book.
Memories do count!

It was fun reading what we have written back during uni years.
Might seem nothing when we did it.
But when you read it, it brings back all the memories.

Life is good.
Having family members and friends around feels good.
Having loved ones by my side feels good.
Thank you God for the blessing.

#100happydays Day 78 180914

 Happy Day 78 (18/09/2014)
Happy anniversary to my beloved Saga BLM.

Bought second hand.
My first car.
Down-payment and instalment all by myself.

Thanks to it, I am able to drive around.
Will have more years to come.
I treat you nice.
You treat me nice.

#100happydays Day 77 170914

Happy Day 77 (17/09/2014)
Getting better.

Yesterday mom told me:
Luckily u got pox before you went to KL.
Otherwise no one will take care of you.

I almost want to quit my intention to KL.
But I took it that God was kind enough to let my mom take care of me before I go to KL.
Once decision is made, just go ahead.

Don't look back.
Nothing to lose.
Just experience.
Go for it.

Dear bought coconut water yesterday.
Didn't talk much to him.
Moody and lazy to talk.
Also don't want to infect him.

Yesterday night was so "interesting".
Itchy to the max.
Hope yesterday was the peak point.

From this pox experience,
I realized that many still sayang me de.
Thank you God for the blessing!

#100happydays Day 76 160914

 Happy Day 76 (16/09/2014)
Happy birthday to Malaysia.
Seemed like getting some inflammation.
Kids around at home.

Seemed more is coming out.
Went to another doctor in Kulim (nearer) to get MC.
Also to confirm if I can go Nepal.
He said OK.
Then I realized that the Paracetamol acts as anti-inflammatory drug.

I thought it was for fever only so I didn't take it anymore.
After the visit, I obediently took Paracetamol.
Want to recover faster.

Work and Nepal is waiting for me.
Dear was right, if he go alone without me, won't mean anything.
He was the one who agreed to go to accompany me in the first place.

They drove me crazy.
But they also reminded me that life doesn't have to be so serious.
Kids are important in life.
Just need to have time for them.

They did nothing wrong.
Just us adult didn't let them roam freely.
What to do?
The world is no longer as safe as it used to be.

I remember when we were kids, mom let us roam freely in the estate.
We basically explored jungle and waterfall and river.
Quietly, of course.

Now... who dares? Even when they are just hanging out at the door.
The price to pay for development.
No pain, no gain.

Next time gonna try eating bread this way :)

16 September 2014

#100happydays Day 75 150914

Happy Day 75 (15/09/2014)
More poxes coming out.

 They come out pretty fast.
Luckily the calamine lotion is helping with the itchiness.
Wouldn't want any scar, especially on the face.
Friend advised to use Bio Oil after recover.
Will remember that.

#100happydays Day 74 140914

 Happy Day 74 (14/09/2014)
Starwalk, company sponsor.
Chicken pox saying hi to me.

Thank you to FOM Sports Club for sponsoring our participation fee.
Was late. Everyone was waiting.
A car double parked just nice.
Luckily an uncle nearby helped us.

Car was not on hand brake.
So we can push the car away.
Luckily the driver had some sense.
Thank you.

Had a mild fever a day before.
After Starwalk, I discovered this one lesion.
Suspected is chicken pox.

Doctor gave me all this.
To recover faster since I told him I need to go Nepal on 25 Sept.
Only gave me a day MC since only one lesion.

Better to get chicken pox than when older.
Doctor said adult's immune system is more aggressive.
Will have more lesions than kids.

Heard that shingles come from the same virus as chicken pox.
If you have chicken pox, you might develop shingles later.
Some said if didn't let chicken pox comes all out, might develop shingles later.

Oppss... I am taking anti-viral to suppress it.
Hope doctor knows what he is doing lar hor...
He is more professional ma.

#100happydays Day73 130914

Happy Day 73 (13/09/2014)

Geram see his cheek, chubby dao~~~

His eyes, OMG.
But why is he so dark ah?
Sebiji like his dad...

#100happydays Day 72 120914

Happy Day 72 (12/09/2014)
The water lily blooms again!
Pond community still intact and loyal as before.
Mom's diligent fruit of labour.

Waking up to this every morning is a blessing.
Reminds me to be grateful for life.

#100happydays Day 71 110914

Happy Day 71 (11/09/2014)
Heart-warming dinner a.k.a. supper.
Nothing beats being at home, really!

Been working until quite late these few days.
Reached home, searching for food.
Dear cooked the instant noodles for me.
Mom cut the dragon fruits into slices and kept it in the fridge.

Honestly, I will miss being at home.
To look at the bright side,
I will be better able to cherish more of such moments when they come.

#100happydays Day 70 100914

#100happydays Day 69 090914

Happy Day 69 (09/09/2014)
Mom did her magic with nasi goreng pattaya again.

Love my mom so so much.
I was just thinking of her wonder magic nasi pattaya and poof...
She made it.
I didn't tell her about it.

And steamed lady's fingers too.
Her proud collection.
She planted them herself.

Every time she plucked one, she will announce to me.
While I will say reply "good la".
Without much interest.
I always pour cold water on mom.

So bad hor...
When I am happily eating away her lady's fingers.
Mom is always the best.
Leaving the best for her kid.
I need to train myself on that.
Treat her better.

I am gonna miss her a lot in few months time.
Especially when there is any festivals coming up.
It is true when they say,
Home Is Always The Best Place.

8 September 2014

#100happydays Day 68 080914

Happy Day 68 (09/09/2014)
Moon cakes from colleagues.

I have generous colleagues at work.
This is what makes us close-knit.
Must appreciate while I can.

#100happydays Day 67 070914

Happy Day 67 (07/09/2014)
Had a good cendol for tea time.
Had a long overdue car wash for my beloved car.
Had a good "mee goreng" for dinner.
Had a short lantern walk with mom, dear and nieces.

You can't resist this cendol.
Much better than the so-called famous Penang Road cendol.
And this is in Kulim town itself, yum yum!

Excited for the lantern walk.
Our first.
Reminds me when I was so excited back when I was a kid myself!

#100happydays Day 66 060914

Happy Day 66 (06/09/2014)
Dou Dou's first car trip.
Attended Yuh Ping's wedding dinner.
Girl friends' gathering. My first pillow talk in 2014.

He couldn't stay still in the box.
Once we left him wandering in the car, he relaxed himself like a boss.
Unfortunately, both pet shops' groomers were on leave.
Wondering if they hire the same groomer.
Anyway, lucky Dou Dou, he is spared from full grooming.

It is true when they say the only time you really gather is during wedding dinner.

Talk Talk Wine Bar.
Only one of us ordered alcoholic drink.
Cozy environment.

#100happydays Day 65 050914

Happy Day 65 (05/09/2014)
Got my medical report. Clinically fit.
Niece recovering from chicken pox.

Been awhile I didn't see my own chest x-ray.
Thank god for blessing me with good health.

I can't imagine life without this little devil :)

#100happydays Day 64 040914

Happy Day 64 (04/09/2014)
Got a Taiwan postcard.

Dr. Yeo always remember my request.
I like this, especially when I didn't expect it so soon.

6 Management Lessons That Everyone Should Know

Lesson 1:
A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her shower, when the doorbell rings. The wife quickly wraps herself in a towel and runs downstairs. When she opens the door, there stands Bob, the next-door neighbor. Before she says a word, Bob says, 'I'll give you $800 to drop that towel.'

After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands naked in front of Bob. After a few seconds, Bob hands her $800 and leaves. The woman wraps back up in the towel and goes back upstairs. When she gets to the bathroom, her husband asks, 'Who was that?'

'It was Bob, the next door neighbor,' she replies.

'Great,' the husband says, 'did he say anything about the $800 he owes me?'

Moral of the story:
If you share critical information pertaining to credit and risk with your shareholders in time, you may be in a position to prevent avoidable exposure.

Lesson 2:
A priest offered a Nun a lift. She got in and crossed her legs, forcing her gown to reveal a leg. The priest nearly had an accident. After controlling the car, he stealthily slid his hand up her leg. The nun said, 'Father, remember Psalm 129?'

The priest removed his hand. But, changing gears, he let his hand slide up her leg again. The nun once again said, 'Father, remember Psalm 129?' The priest apologized 'Sorry sister but the flesh is weak.' Arriving at the convent, the nun sighed heavily and went on her way.

On his arrival at the church, the priest rushed to look up Psalm 129. It said, 'Go forth and seek, further up, you will find glory.'

Moral of the story:
If you are not well informed in your job, you might miss a great opportunity.

Lesson 3:
A sales rep, an administration clerk, and the manager are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp. They rub it and a Genie comes out. The Genie says, 'I'll give each of you just one wish.'

'Me first! Me first!' says the admin clerk. 'I want to be in the Bahamas, driving a speedboat, without a care in the world.' Puff! She was gone.

'Me next! Me next!' says the sales rep. 'I want to be in Hawaii, relaxing on the beach with my personal masseuse, an endless supply of Pina Coladas and the love of my life.' Puff! He was gone.

'OK, you're up,' the Genie says to the manager. The manager says, 'I want those two back in the office after lunch.'

Moral of the story:
Always let your boss have the first say.

Lesson 4:
An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing. A small rabbit saw the eagle and asked him, 'Can I also sit like you and do nothing?' The eagle answered, 'Sure, why not.'

So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the eagle and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

Moral of the story:
To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.

Lesson 5:
A turkey was chatting with a bull. 'I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree' sighed the turkey, 'but I haven't got the energy.' 'Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?' replied the bull. 'They're packed with nutrients.'

The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree. The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch. Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree. He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.

Moral of the story:
Bull Sh*t might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there...

Lesson 6:
A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field. While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him. As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was.

The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy. A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Moral of the story:
1) Not everyone who sh*ts on you is your enemy.
2) Not everyone who gets you out of sh*t is your friend.
3) And when you're in deep sh*t, it's best to keep your mouth shut!

Crazy and Nervous

I wake up feeling drowsy. Had a good session with dear.
But we have violated our 1 month bet for 3 times now.
Sigh! No determination. Must change. Must wake up early too.
Punctuality is a key attitude to success.

Then I felt troubled and bad. Had a minor row with mom. My fault.
Didn't communicate properly to keep 2 moon cakes for mom's prayers.

Starting to feel worried for the new venture soon. Nepal trip coming up.
Yet no excitement felt. Probably I don't like the financial insecurity I am feeling now.

Mom's minor car accident. My own car service. Car insurance + road tax. Nepal trip.
Need deposits for rental and utilities.
Need to have some spare cash ready for whatever travel required by work.
So many unforeseen costs. Bank account balance is dwindling fast.

I hate this feeling. Friend posted this:
One can only rely on oneself because even one's shadow leaves oneself during darkness.
Sounds negative but rings true.

No matter how special that person is to you,
you can't expect him or her to be on the same frequency as you all the time.
How good if I am able to be a typical lady. How good if I am in a typical relationship.
How good if I control my EQ.

So many uncertainties. What causes it? Can it be due to my own thinking?
Don't attach to a thought when it comes to the mind. Easier said than done.
I am worried about planting seed of doubt into my upcoming venture.
Just felt like giving up suddenly and lead a super stable life.

Don't give up, Pheo. New path usually looks harder. Few months later... sap sap sui la!
Persevere. Your choice. Your path. Be an adult. Live up to it. Bear with it.

#100happydays Day 63 030914

Happy Day 63 (03/09/2014)
Had a deep talk with him yesterday.

We have differences.
He is supportive.
He has much softer heart than mine.

He is not used to pouring his heart contents out.
I, on the other hand, no longer conceal things from him.
Whatever issues which concern me, I will bring it out.

He has become part of my life.
I appreciate his presence.
Love him a lot!
Alongside my mom and the kids.

Sometimes took him for granted as well.
Human nature.
I will be punctual.
Promise!

#100happydays Day 62 020914

Happy Day 62 (02/09/2014)
My first chia seed trial.

Bought this for Chia Hoi.
She is eating her own species.
Haha.
Lame joke, I know.

Put too much.
Nice to drink.
Jelly like.

Take 2 scoops and drop it into water tumbler.
Shake it and consume.
Said to be acidic so best to put lemon slice in it.
Can be consumed with honey as well.

It was believed by Chinese community that acidic body leads to higher risk of cancer.
Hence try more alkaline food.

#100happydays Day 61 010914

Tuina is so relaxing.
Reflexology indeed.

#100happydays Day 60 310814

Happy Day 60 (31/08/2014)

Food prepared by him is guaranteed to be safe and hygienic.

Ta daa...
Snowskin a.k.a. phin phee moon cakes!

Really her style.
Quiet and composed.

Always with weird patterns.
By the way, that is a bag of garlics.
Told you she has weird patterns.

#100happydays Day 58 290814

Happy Day 58 (29/08/2014)
This card makes my heart melt.

I was really surprised.
This came together with my Redmi Note.
I just love to see this.
It has only two legs because it was side view.

Dear had improved a lot.
In fact he is much more sensitive than I am now.
I wonder if I am causing him to feel insecure.

It seems small gesture.
But the thought behind it wins above all.
This is what matters in a relationship.
Reminds me to do something for him.

I like it when he puts in effort to do something.
Seemed like I really should learn to cook for him.
Work together rather than hoping for him to do everything by himself.

#100happydays Day 57 280814

Happy Day 57 (28/08/2014)
Attended my very first dharma talk.
Titled "How To Cope With Suffering".
Interesting.

When a thought comes to the mind,
don't attach to it.

Attachment is suffering.
Truly agree.

We are no Saint.
Not easy to let go of thoughts.

Just do it.
No expectation.

#100happydays Day 56 270814

Happy Day 56 (27/08/2014)
Niece had chicken pox.
Got the new Xiao Mi Redmi Note.

This morning the bubbly monkey niece cried during bath:
"Painful, painful, very painful"
Her face and body had red bubbles.
Chicken pox.
No wonder she slept so early for the past 2 nights,
skipping her dinner altogether.
So unlike her.

She didn't know what is chicken pox and
probably the painful and itchy "bubbles" scared her,
she was so decent and quiet.
Probably tired as well.
So cute.

But I must avoid her by all means.
Going to Nepal end Sept.
Can't afford to get chicken pox.
>RM3000 already paid leh...

My first ever smartphone.
Present from dear.
Thank you dear!
Dual sim. I can use my existing tablet broadband sim card.
No need to pay extra for data package.
Yuhoo!
