#48 - We can only plan but it's not up to us to decide

Was feeling ‘down’ and demotivated last week. However, this week I vowed to return feeling energetic. last Saturday, I followed SP and Mok with their nephews and niece to Alor Star to Muzium Padi, Alor Star tower and Science Centre once again. This time, it’s a different feeling althogether since there were kids tagging along. On Sunday, Turtles meet up for Boey’s farewell. Unfortunately, Boey developed some kind of skin allergy. She was red and itchy all over. Pity her, in the end she can’t enjoy the farewell much.

After having lunch in Mizi Bistro in New World Park, we went to QBM. Jz normal window shopping since we don’t know where else to hang out. What started out as window shopping ended up with me coming out from Popular with 5 books in total. It feels good spending so much on books out of a sudden.

So maybe that’s where I regained my motivation, since I bought one self-help book while the other 4 were fictions. Gosh, wonder if I will have time to read them. I have few more at home, which I haven’t had the chance to touch yet. So, on Monday morning, I woke up early and energetic and it started out good. I managed to settle all the tasks I intend to do. Come badminton, I was a bit lacking though. Don’t know, no energy, didn’t even bother to run much. Since Monday started out good, I was hoping for Tuesday to be same too.

So this morning (Tuesday), I also woke up feeling refreshed and prepared to get ready for work. Just when I got out and want to kick start my motor engine, I realised that the tyre was punctured. Oh great! No wonder I felt different when riding home ytdy night. Lucky it didn’t go flat while on my way home ytdy night. Had to wait for the mechanic near my home to come at nearly 10am. Decided to change inner tube, tyre and motor oil one short. And I am so generous to ask him to keep the change since he didn’t have any change with him. Lucky I didn’t give him RM100 notes. Haha, but that didn’t dampen my spirit to work at all.

Btw, what should be a ‘will be late to work due to flat tyre’ became ‘half-day leave’. Half-day leave gone wasted just like that. So, when I thought all is well, rain came pouring down, which left me worried of how am I supposed to go to work now? Don’t know why, somehow it gives me a feeling that God is testing my patience. And somehow, I had a feeling that by the time I reach office, there might be something not pleasant going on. Let’s just hope that I am wrong…

Hmm, I am quite surprised to see how good my EQ is today despite all these ‘unexpected’ events. Oh ya, another event worth noting is that Yuki is getting married. Frankly speaking, she is the first among my friends to get married. She asked a few of us to become her ‘chi mui’ and I agreed. Don’t know what does a ‘chi mui’ do also. Well, just play along during the wedding I guess
