You will notice that I changed my style slightly and I didn’t use short forms for this post. Obviously, I am not really in the mood currently. Just want to pen in my thoughts some other encounters in a more subtle way, without it sounding too negative.
Scenario 1
A: Hey, long time didn’t go out for a movie or a meal together.
B: How about ****** or ******?
A: ******
B:OK
>Turned out it was A’s birthday on ******. Great! Nice timing B! Talk about coincidence!
Scenario 2
A: Ma, must we buy new fridge come this new year?
Ma: No need you all pay la!
>Should have asked in a different manner. Dumbass!
Scenario 3
A: You should find yourself a companion. Then it will make your ma’s life better.
B: What does me finding a boyfriend has anything to do with my ma’s life being better?
A: Then she wouldn’t need to worry about you anymore.
>Never thought this kind of conversation would ever take place in the first place. Thought my ma is always a liberal one?
Scenario 4
A: Can we unsubscribe to Streamyx?
B: Why?
A: I don’t want to pay anymore. If need to use Internet badly, just go to cyber café or those cafes out there lah.
B: I will continue to subscribe. I pay all.
>Why don’t use mobile broadband? Cheaper some more. Just that the line is slow and unstable loh.
Scenario 5
A: Ei, I got a call from Agilent. Asked me for resume but I will only grad in Aug.
B: Just send la.
A: The lady asked what kind of job nature I am interested in. I say I don’t know.
B: Just send. You have nothing to lose.
>Opportunity doesn’t come knocking on your door twice. Life is short. Never say ‘No’ before you even try it out.
Scenario 6
A: RON95 increase another 5sen. Sugar and other commodities too.
B: Why never heard about salary hike ah?
>Getting nervous as bonus and increment is just around the corner. Dare not think about it but I need it badly!
(p/s: Don’t even waste your time guessing about what is happening. Only some people will understand it.)
