#81 - Busy weekends

18.01.2011

a) Blood test report - as fit as a cow. Everything within the normal range, including triglyceride, LDL and HDL. My exercise routine pays off. In fact, I had a huge lunch after took the report. Thank God! However, my globulin level was slightly high (doctor says it’s a norm, globulin tests ur liver’s functionality, it’s ok as long as it’s not low). Mom did ultrasound and was found to have a small kidney stone on the left kidney. Still trying the medication. Both of us don’t have Hep A and Hep B antibodies. Doctor said mom no need go for Hep B vaccination as women above 50 has low risk against it.

b) Prayers for Dad - mom wanted to place dad in the Tan Kongsi in Berapit. Both bro and I took leave and together with mom and the little devil, went to pray and conduct the necessary rituals. Every year end, related TANs will flock the place to pay respect to their ancestors. Time flies, it had been over 4 years since Dad left us. Don’t know why, I vowed to have better EQ after visited the place.

c) Catching up with friends - CC revealed something unpleasant about her relationship. Heart ached for her but that just proves that no matter how cheerful can a person be, they will still have their fair share of problems to think of. Life is indeed short and anything can happen.

d) Memo - company issued a memo to warn staff against coming late. I departed from house super early, only to have my car to be bumped into by 2 foreigners on a bike. That added scratches to my back bumper. I asked “kenapa boleh langgar?”. That guy answered “takde apa”. =.=! I didn’t ask about his well-being cos obviously he and his passenger were ok. I wonder how did that guy actually rode his bike as I had stopped for about 5 seconds before the crash. Thank God though that nothing worse happened!

e) Met TSY - happy to know she is happy and found satisfaction from her current work. First time eating Haagen-Daaz ice cream. RM29 for 3 scoops! I don’t think I will visit it a second time by myself, unless being invited by friend. Ice cream is never my favorite in the first place. I rather spend it on sushi. But the strawberry and mango chunks were nice to bite into. We promised to try to meet up every month. QBM will be our meeting spot.

f) Monkey Beach - finally made it there! I like the trails there and it was very tiring. Imagine this, we took a boat to Muka Head and hike up the lighthouse before hiking all the way back to the entrance. It took us about 4 hours in total (including resting time). Wonder how long will it take us if we were to hike both ways.

LS did some palm reading when we were at the top of the lighthouse. She said I am a calibre person but like to control and manage people. I admit that part. She said I control because I am concerned but sometimes can make others suffocate. I reviewed myself again and hope to be able to continue reminding myself to improve. I had some doubt before I went for this hiking due to certain person but after this hike, I am very sure of my decision already!

g) Baby Chloe - visited LGK’s baby with CCH and CMY. WSK couldn’t make it last minute. But she helped us to buy the gift. Appreciated that. LGK told us her encounter during delivery. Her baby is super cute and carved a smile a few times while we were there. Halfway watching her wedding video, her relatives came for a visit, so we ‘cabut’ to make way for them. Glad to know she is leading a blissful marriage. Congratulations LGK!

h) Fortune telling - told CWY that nearby my house, there is this one place where some of my friends had been there for fotune telling and some seemed to be repeating their routine yearly. CWY was interested and I fetched her there. There was some truth in what the teller told her. I stay put to my decision to not to go for any fortune telling. I rather don’t know as I am the ‘think too much’ type of person. Just let my mom inform me when she go for ‘cha jia men’ after CNY. Speaking about CNY, mom urged us for spring cleaning, something which I am not able to initiate just yet, due to my busy schedule.

Hope year 2011 brings more opportunity for everyone!
