#68 - My First Times

I had many of my ‘first times’ today. First time taking MAS flights (previously only took Fireflyz and Air Asia). First time taking plane touching down at KLIA (only been to Subang airport and LCCT).First time knowing that if u booked MAS return flight ticket as well, u can check in for the return flight when u check in for the first flight.

First time knowing that u can actually select ur seat with MAS (either window or aisle). First time knowing that MAS provides drinks with peanuts (only knew Fireflyz offers muffins with drinks during my previous night flight).

First time joining a meeting as an observer. First time meeting key players from Indo’sia. First time being asked by Jimmy to prepare notes to gauge my understanding from the meeting. First time meeting colleagues from HQ. First time getting the front row seat for economy class for my return flight.

First time a Mamak sitting next to me, claiming to be an MO working in KK and made me feel spooky due to his “flirtings”. First time I felt like I wanna leave the plane ASAP. First time experiencing the luggage compartment in the airplane being stuck (in the end there wasn’t much point sitting in the first row since I couldn’t get my luggage out and leave the plane).

I foresee there will be many more first times in my coming days as there are big changes coming my way. For good or for bad I don’t really know but I know for sure that it’s either do or die as I can no longer afford to be complacent if I really want to move forward…
